sequel hasn't been happy lying on his back because he couldn't see out, couldn't see what's going on. so i swapped out the bassinet for the chair on the bugaboo. he is much happier.

The whole team walked him to school, Mama with Sequel asleep in the carrier and Papa walking his bike. Papa said good-bye at the door. Mama walked him into the classroom. In no time he was engrossed in an alphabet puzzle and Mama was waving good-bye. It was like we both had been doing it for weeks already.

When I picked him up 2 and 1/2 hours later, he didn't want to leave and asked "when is it a school day again?"

good-bye, mighty tree

just three houses down from us is a huge old sycamore. it was a marker on our walks. when he started to ride his push bike i would let him go ahead and fast as he wanted "just to the big tree and stop."
after a fierce windstorm ripped a huge limb off, it had to be cut down. we have gone to say good-bye, more than once.

when the trunk fell, we felt it shake the ground at our house.
