bibliophile in training
kinda of looks like it could be a used bookstore...
but nope, it isn't. it is the nightstand. is this why the lights out part of bedtime keeps getting later and later?

we stage a fashion shoot
but recently, as he had been trying to dress and undress himself, he told me the "dollies need clo-esthes." so, i had to try again, but since the last time i had started knitting socks with fine yarn and small needles. it was the perfect scale for doll dresses.

storytime with frosting on top
storytime was a birthday party this week. there were several books about birthday parties and then at craft time, they decorated party hats.
then they decorated cupcakes. (it would turn out that "em-em" taste yucky and mama had to remove them all before the cupcake could be eaten.)
oh and it was BYOB (bring your own BIB. so glad i thought of it.)

a break while running errands
after the post office, the library, the yarn shop, the quilt fabric shop and then the coffee house, we arrived at the grocery store parking lot. he was asleep, so i let him nap. i opened the windows to the breeze and listened to npr. (i'm making a sock by the way and yes, nearly all our clothing is still blue.)
